What is Bridges By Mentors
Six partners from the Netherlands, Cyprus, Belgium, France, Germany, and Bulgaria.
We are an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships project, launched in September 2023, with the goal of empowering international students to mentor local youth, fostering inclusion and intercultural understanding. Our project team is led by a strong consortium of six partners from the Netherlands, Cyprus, Belgium, France, Germany, and Bulgaria. Together, we leverage our expertise to create lasting, positive impact through meaningful mentoring.
Our Goals

Develop a comprehensive implementation guide and tailored training guidelines for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to support the Mentoring Outreach Program for international students.
Establish a structured Mentoring Outreach Format to initiate, execute, and oversee collaborative mentoring initiatives within the region
Recruit and engage both international students and local youth participants to build a diverse and inclusive mentoring network
Provide in-depth training to international students, equipping them with the skills needed to mentor and engage with local youth effectively.
Organise regional and European events, while actively disseminating the program’s outcomes
